Four new Models introduced in 2016
In order to offer the best value on the Built Ford Tough Ranger and higher-efficiency engine capacity, Ford is introducing four new models on its XL and XLS line:

Ford Ranger FX4
Ford has officially introduced a new Ranger variant for the first time in Thailand, the FX4. The Ranger FX4 raises the bar by bringing a tough and sporty new look and premium features to the pickup.
The FX4 features an exclusive new grille with a mesh pattern, blacked out fog light bezels, 18-inch Stark Grey painted wheels and a black sports bar. A bold graphic element draws the eye to the muscular bonnet, housing a powerful and proven 2.2-liter Duratorq diesel engine which generates a 160 Horsepower and 385 Nm of torque. On the tailgate, a blacked-out decal features the word RANGER in negative space, allows the body color to show through.
The strong FX4 identity continues inside the cabin, with darker finishes for a bold, premium look. The dark interior offers a unique level of refinement within the Ranger lineup. 2016 Ford Ranger Wildtrak
The new Ford Ranger Wildtrak sports a new trapezoidal grille with strong outboard nostrils finished in a dark, liquid metallic gray. The same accent color is found on the side mirrors, door handles, side air vents, bed rails and taillamps.
Other distinctive features are the rectangular fog lamps, a unique sports hoop, exclusive machined 18-inch alloy wheels and Wildtrak graphics. Ford says even the Wildtrak’s signature orange color (called Pride Orange) has been tweaked to help the vehicle stand out from the crowd. The Ranger Wildtrak is also available in Cool White, Black Mica, Aluminum Metallic and Metropolitan Gray.
The cabin features orange accents, a soft-touch instrument panel top with orange stitching, shadow chrome frames for the air vents and unique seats with graphical elements and orange stitching.
Since the Ford Ranger Wildtrak is the flagship of the Ranger nameplate, it features a series of connectivity and safety technologies. These include the Sync in-car connectivity system with voice control and an 8-inch touchscreen. Driver assist technologies include Lane Keeping Alert and Lane Keeping Aid, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and more.
Other technologies on offer are Hill Launch Assist, Hill Descent Control, Adaptive Load Control and Emergency Brake Assistance.
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak is offered with the 3.2-liter Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi diesel which produces 200PS (197hp) and 470Nm (347lb-ft) of torque. Customers can also opt for the 2.2-liter Duratorq four-cylinder TDCi diesel rated at 160PS (158hp) and 385Nm (284lb-ft) of torque.
